MAIN HOUSE: 6 Bedrooms On the first floor, there are all the 5 beautiful double bedrooms, furnished with great charm and taste and all with parquet floors. In a bedroom there is a bathtub, in front of the window, with a stunning view of the castle of Poppi and its hamlet, for your romantic baths. You can’t really miss it! The children have their bedroom with bunk bed and ensuite bathroom, near another double bedroom, for their parents, with ensuite bathroom too. There are also other 3 bedrooms, one of them with a big masonry wardrobe on the wall. DEPANDANCE ONE: 1 Bedroom In the Dependence one (15 m away from the main house) there are on the ground floor 1 double bedroom with private bathroom, both suitable for disabled and wheelchair users. DEPENDANCE TWO: 1 Bedroom + 1 Gallery  In the DEPANDANCE two (about 20 m away from the main house), there is a  Gallery with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom, a living room, 1 double bedroom. A Baby cot is available on request.

MAIN HOUSE On the ground floor, with direct exit to the garden there is a cozy living room with fireplace and sitting area with a sofa bed (for 2 persons if necessary) and armchairs, satellite TV and a spacious 40sqm-large dining room, also with couch and armchairs, satellite TV and and a very big table for the meals of the entire big group. Here, there is also a very nice fireplace for cozy evenings by the fire, if weather conditions do not allow to stay outside. On the first floor, there is a nice veranda, with a splendid view of the surroundings below, equipped with sitting furniture. A little room with PC and internet access is at disposal of the guests. MAIN HOUSE The professional kitchen is equipped with 4 burner gas oven, German and Italian coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric kettle, sink and all the necessary kitchenware for cooking. In another room, there is also a washing machine and a big freezer.  There is also a little storeroom.  A baby high chair is available on demand. Outside, in front of the living room, there is a typical Tuscan masonry bread oven, where the guest can enjoy themselves cooking a good pizza- the wife of the owner will show you how to do with pleasure- and then, you will eat your warm pizza with a cold beer, as it is in use in Italy, or with a good glass of Chianti, as prefer our foreign guests: you really will retain a wonderful memory of this holiday! Clearly, there is also a mobile grill/barbecue for your grill parties al fresco.

 MAIN HOUSE On the ground floor, there is 1 bathroom with sink, bidet, WC, shower enclosure. On the first floor, there is 1 bathroom with sink, bidet, WC and bathtub with shower device, with wonderful hand-decorated ceramic tiles. On this floor, are also all the other 3 bathrooms, each with shower enclosure, sink bidet, WC and also the little bathroom of the children room, equipped with sink, WC and bidet. With access from the kitchen and the dining room, a wonderful glazed veranda offers a wonderful view of the castle of Poppi and of its medieval hamlet and it is the ideal place for your meals. Here you can sit and relax yourself surrounded by a lush nature. On the other side of the house, there is a big table with chairs, under a pergola, where you can eat or simply sit and enjoy the shadow, with another wonderful view, this time of the village of Bibbiena. There are very useful covered parking places and a play area for children with swing and slide.

HEATED POOL (from April to October: swimming pool open and heated. Swimming pool heating included). The swimming pool has an internal illumination, solar shower, comfortable deckchairs and sun umbrellas- not to mention the 360° enchanting view of the surroundings that only few houses can offer.

This wonderful little group of houses is set on an incredible position with an incomparable panoramic sight of the lovely countryside of the central Tuscany. This house is really the ideal place for an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful region of Italy. The farm is a real „Azienda Agricola“- the  330.000 m2  are cultivated and there are also cows out to pasture and the guests are supplied with fruits and Bio-organic vegetables; there is even a wood with truffles- clearly at the due distance from the guest farm house, the swimming pool and the garden. Podere 2 Querce means farm 2 oaks, indeed, there are 2 magnificent centuries-old oaks in the property, one directly in front of the house. The house, the swimming pool and the garden can be used only by the guests. The works of maintenance of the garden and of the swimming pool are done very early in the morning, but you can agree with the owner the time you prefer. MAIN HOUSE: 400 SQM. DEPENDANCE ONE 30 SQM. DEPENDANCE TWO 60 SQM + GALLERY 25 SQM For your shopping you can go to Ponte Poppi (the part of the village, near the river Arno). There, you will find an Eurospar supermarket, many retail shops for all your needs, pharmacy, banks, ice-cream parlor, post offices, petrol station and many restaurants, pizzerias and bars for your daily cappuccino. On Thursdays morning there is the mercato, an open air market, in the main piazza. In Poppi, the old medieval hamlet, near the castle, there are 2 very good restaurants, 1 pizzeria, 2 food shops, 1 pharmacy, 1 bank and 2 coffee bars. If you need something more, Bibbiena the main village of Casentino, is only 10 minutes of car from Poppi. There you will find many little retail shops and a modern shopping centre with a Coop supermarket, where you can buy all you need.  Services: postal office, banks, hospital, pharmacy, tennis, public covered and outdoor swimming pool, five-a-side football sport center. Casentino is full of pizzerias and restaurants to be tried- not to mention the Golf Club that has a pizzeria/ restaurant, which is so near the holiday house that can be reached on foot. We recommend it: good food, particularly fish dishes, good prices and super pizza (the cook is from Naples, the cradle of pizza!). If you prefer to stay at home and enjoy a Tuscan Menu, the wife of the owner and/or a professional cook can prepare for you our typical local dishes. On demand, the landlady can provide fresh bread for your breakfast. Moreover, she speaks very good English, so you won’t have any problem of communication. The property had a wood completely fenced where, from June to September, you can go only with the owner, in search of truffles. He will accompany you with his dogs and you will become a real truffle searcher.

This holiday house is located in a splendid position and offers a panoramic view from each point of the big estate. The enchanting vista of the medieval hamlet of Poppi with its beautiful and well- preserved castle – it belonged to Conti Guidi and dates back to 13th century: really worth a visit – from the other side the village of Bibbiena, the main centre of Casentino and all around centuries old woods and nature for your romantic walk and for trekking and mountain bike amateurs; in the distance also La Verna. Casentino is full of enchanting little historic villages, with their Romanesque churches, medieval castles ( Romena, Poppi, Porciano), picturesque squares and mystic places such as LaVerna with its Franciscan friary and Camaldoli with its hermitage, the monastic community and the forest, where the time seems to be stopped forever. Many other little villages are worth to be seen such as Stia, Pratovecchio, Strada, Chitignano and everywhere you will find pizzerias, restaurants, ice cream parlors: you have only to choose! Fortunately, Casentino is a still- untouched valley, with not so much tourists, the prices are normal and here you can really experience the Tuscan life. A visit to Florence and Siena, with their marvelous artistic treasures, is a “must” for each tourist of Tuscany and many famous cultural and artistic towns such as Arezzo, S. Gimignano, Cortona, Perugia and Assisi can be easily reached in a daily tour.
