Casa Belvedere

The house is located on the picturesque west coast of Elba, away from the crowd of tourists of other parts of the island. Set on a rocky slope above the sea, in a very quiet position; it offers a unique view of the sea, up to the island of Corsica in the distance. The sunset here will be really unforgettable!

In the main house (1st floor) there are 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed, in the dependance, which is (on the ground floor) under the large sun terrace, there is 1 further bedroom with a double bed, as well as a comfortable pull-out couch if required. 1 baby cot can be provided on request.

The main house (upper apartment) has 1 living room with dining table, chairs, wicker chairs and satellite TV; In the dependance there is 1 kitchen, also with dining table, chairs, couch and satellite TV.

The kitchen in the main house has a double sink, 4-burner gas cooker, German coffee maker, Italian mocha pot, toaster, as well as a microwave and refrigerator with freezer in the living room. The completely new kitchen in the dependance has a four-burner stove, an electric oven, a double sink, a fridge with a freezer, a toaster, a German coffee machine and an Italian mocha pot - both kitchens have enough dishes, pots and pans, of course

On the ground floor,  there is the DEPENDANCE, a lovely little apartment (about 35m2), with 1 kitchen, 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. An outside staircase leads to the 1st floor, where there is a big FLAT, (about 50m2),  with living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with bunk beds. In front of this apartment, there is a terrace with an awning and garden furniture;  beside it, a few steps down, there  is the 2nd terrace with a large stone table and benches, a masonry  barbecue, outdoor shower and a covered pergola, and a bit down a further 3rd terrace, thought as SUN TERRACE, with sun loungers for sunbathing until late evening. By each of these 3 terraces you will have a wonderful VIEW OF THE SEA. The property is about 1000 m2 and it is completely fenced; the gate is lockable, and all around you will enjoy the view of fruit and lemon trees, Bougainville and Mediterranean plants. The house has a private parking.

From this house you will admire really unforgettable sunsets! FETOVAIA, probably the most beautiful bay of Elba, with its splendid white sandy beach, can be reached in about 10-15 minutes’ drive. The house is divided into 2 apartments, good solution for 2 families that are together on holiday but want to maintain their own privacy. The flats are NOT rented separately. The house is a good starting point for hiking excursions into the lush vegetation- macchia- which surrounds the house.

Dogs are welcome on demand

The holiday house is located in the picturesque west coast of Elba Island (not a traditional touristic destination). The asphalted 300 m. road that leads to the holiday house starts from the coastal street between Chiessi and Sant’Andrea. The holiday house is the last of a little group of houses and it is close to the blooming macchia with agaves and Mediterranean vegetation. For you shopping you can go to the little villages of Colle d'Orano or Chiessi, only few minutes’ drive away or to taste the good local dishes of Elba in a typical trattoria. The most beautiful bay of Elba, FETOVAIA with its marvelous white sandy beach, is only 10 minutes drive away; CAVOLI only 15 Minutes drive, CHIESSI (pebbles and smooth flat rocks) only 5 minutes drive, St. ANDREA is only 5 minutes’ drive.
