Casa Morena

Casa Morena is a typical Tuscan holiday villa, built with natural stones, with private swimming pool, located in a marvelous panoramic setting, on the hills around the famous Etruscan Cortona. This house has a secluded position, with a fenced property of about 7000 m2, planted with olive trees and with a garden around the house with Mediterranean vegetation and a romantic pergola with a climbing vine above. WiFi internet connection included.

3 bedrooms On the first floor: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with  double bed + 1 single bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and direct exit to the garden through an outer staircase.  Baby cot is available on request.

This kitchen is very well appointed, with plenty of good cooking utensils and every kind of kitchenware for real cooks. It is furnished with fridge/freezer, 4 burner gas oven, microwave, toaster, moka, German coffee machine and dishwasher.

On the ground floor there is 1 guest toilet with sink, toilet and washing machine, on the 1st floor there is 1 bathroom with tub, sink, toilet and bidet and 1 further bathroom, which is an ensuite bathroom and the bedroom with the direct exit to the Garden belongs, it has a brick shower, toilet, sink and bidet.

Completely fenced, private parking, grill/barbecue, wood pizza oven, covered pergola The house is a detached house, located in a secluded position and surrounded by a big fenced property of about 7000 m2 , mostly planted with olive trees and with a garden with Mediterranean vegetation and a splendid pergola covered by a climbing vine. The garden is very good equipped with garden furniture, grill barbecue and wood pizza oven, built with natural stones. The parking place zone is into the property.

The house is located in a secluded position, surrounded by a fenced property with private swimming pool 12x8 m. And it is open from the end of may (sometimes before) to the beginning of October. It is equipped with cozy deck chairs, sun umbrellas and garden furniture. 

Casa Morena is a typical Tuscan holiday villa, built with natural stones, located in a marvelous panoramic setting, on the hills around the famous Etruscan Cortona.  The holiday house, the swimming pool and the garden may be used only by the guests. The works of maintenance of the swimming pool and the garden are done very early in the morning. If you will, you can agree with the owner about the times you prefer. The street that leads to the house is for few kilometers not asphalted but paved with gravel. In good condition, it is practicable by normal cars. Casa Morena is only a few minute drive or 2 km on foot from the picturesque village of Cortona. The street leading from the holiday house to Cortona, ends into a big parking place, from where you can reach crossing one of the ancient entrance doors  the centre of this interesting but not so much visited Etruscan village, set on a hill, surrounded by defensive walls with many little lovely shops, trattorias, coffee bars, restaurants. The typical weekly market, il mercato is on Saturdays morning and another big mercato is in Camucia on Thursdays morning.

Cortona 2 km Florence 100 km, Siena 65 Km, Perugia 45 Km  Arezzo 30 Km, -all these famous touristic cities can be easily reach in a daily tour-  we recommend a visit to the beautiful Lago-Lake Trasimeno, which is only 15 km away.
