TUSCANY - CASENTINO VALLEY (NEAR AREZZO). Cozy little house with private pool for 4 + 2 people in central Tuscany, child-friendly, sun terrace, barbecue area, completely fenced property.

On the ground floor there is a bedroom with 2 king size single beds, each 1.20 m. wide and an ensuite bathroom. On the 1st floor, which is accessible via an internal staircase, is the other bedroom, equipped with 1 double bed (extra long), Furthermore, a double bed couch in the living room offers space for 2 people. 1 baby bed available on request.

The living room is on the 1st floor, you can reach it via an internal staircase from the kitchen, it is a particularly cozy room with comfortable seating in front of a natural stone fireplace. At the top of the stairs there is a small lockable grille for safety for small children.

The kitchen is well equipped, there are all electrical appliances and an extra large number of pots, pans and dishes. Fridge with freezer, large oven, microwave, small extra oven, 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Italian mocha jugs, German coffee maker, blender - everything you need to prepare and cook is really available.

On the ground floor there is an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. On the 1st floor there is an extra large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and shower, sink, toilet and bidet. Also in a small outbuilding right by the pool there is a shower room with a sink and toilet, here is a washing machine and a dryer, there is even an extra fridge here, so that guests can sit comfortably and there are always chilled drinks by the pool without having to go to the kitchen.

On the back of the house, where there is a swimming pool, there is a covered terrace with table and chairs where you can have meals and still above the pool another covered space where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the day or evening with an excellent appetizer. From here you can also enjoy a splendid panorama over the surrounding landscape There is another sitting and dining area in front of the house, here is the morning sun for a nice breakfast. The area is fenced.

The 5x10 m. large pool is located on the back of the house, it is at ground level to the 1st floor of the house, so you can get from the living room and bedroom on the 1st floor directly to the terrace by the pool. Sun loungers and parasols are available, there is an outdoor shower and a sink by the pool and in the garden house there is another shower room with toilet and sink. The pool is illuminated and you have beautiful views of the forest directly above the property.

This cozy little holiday home belongs to an English couple and was originally only intended for their holiday stays in Tuscany, it was purchased a few years ago and tastefully renovated, with great emphasis being placed on preserving as much of the conventional substances as possible, there are still real old terracotta floors and massive old ceiling beams in the house, a lot of solid wood was used in the renovation, there is beautiful antique furniture and tasteful furnishings. Various interior walls are made of natural stone and have not been plastered, which gives the house a very special, rustic flair. The beds are extra wide and extra long. As for the kitchen equipment: it couldn't be more perfect, you really feel at home, everything is there.

Pets are not allowed

Nearby there are tennis courts and riding stables, a golf course in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the entire Casentino in Poppi, in Talla the nearest town there is also a public swimming pool. The Casentino is made for mountain bikers, you can leave directly from home! There are also paths and opportunities for hikers to enjoy the landscape in unspoiled nature. The holiday home CASA MOYA is on the edge of a small village in the Casentino, a region still very original, wooded and "intouristic" in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Arezzo. Casa Moya is the last house on top of a slope. The small path therefore leads only a little higher into the forest. You can see from the house on the roofs of the town of Talla, with 1100 inhabitants it is a quiet town, but where there is everything you may need on vacation. There is a bank, post office, community center, bar, butcher shop, grocery store, small supermarket, hairdresser, 2 churches, gas station, pharmacy. A typical restaurant is also available, if you wish, you can even walk to the village. For mass purchases are Arezzo, which is about 25 km away, there is a large modern shopping center for every need - you go past the day of arrival. In general, Arezzo is a beautiful city, which so far has only been visited by a few tourists - you can "stroll" through the entire historic center, there are many churches worth seeing, including a. BASILICA SAN FRANCESCO with the famous frescoes of the legend of the True Cross by Piero della Francesca. There are good restaurants, numerous shops and boutiques, we highly recommend a visit. If you are here for a first weekend, visit the great antiques fair, held every first Saturday and Sunday of the month, you will certainly like it, and would also like to visit Florence and Siena, both strongholds of Italian art and culture, you can reach both cities in about 1 hour by car. But there is also a lot to see in the Casentino itself, it is worth visiting pretty towns such as Bibbiena, Rassina, Stia, Pratovecchio and, last but not least, Poppi with its well-preserved 12th century castle. We also recommend a tour to La Verna or Camaldoli, these monasteries with their churches to see and the pristine and peaceful forests all around are a refreshment for body and soul, on hot summer days take a walk in the pleasant freshness on well-preserved paths is pure relaxation.
