TUSCANY, CASENTINO VALLEY. Lovely typical Tuscan stone house for 4-5 people, recently renovated with great care, set in a quiet, sunny location with panoramic views and super price. Dogs welcome!

on the 1st floor, there are 3 very lovingly bedrooms, one with a  double canopy bed, next to a single bedroom, from which you get directly into a third bedroom with a queen-size bed (1.20 m width) , good for 1 adult or 2 children.

the entrance of the ground floor opens directly into the living room, which is in communication with the kitchen. An inside staircase leads to the upper floor where there are the bedrooms and a sitting area with satellite TV. The holiday house has a rustic atmosphere and many of the inside walls are left with the original stone walls.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchenware you need for a comfortable cooking; there are refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, 4-burner stove and many dishes and utensils. If the weather should not allow to eat outside on the terrace, there is inside a large dining table .

From the terrace in front of the house, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the fronting mountain and of the small village in the valley. A gazebo with table and chairs invite you to relax and here, you can certainly have all your meal, with the sun already from breakfast. There is also an original antique stone bread oven very good for baking pizza and there is also a barbecue for your romantic evening al fresco. Deck chairs for lounging and sunbathing are available.

the area is perfect for hiking and mountain biking with even routes directly from the holiday house. The village has tennis courts and only 6 km away, there is a golf club. The public swimming pool and a fitness center are only 2 km distant. This Tuscany holiday house is the last of a tiny group of houses surrounded by green natur; the guest has here his own privacy and the view of the nearby small village in the valley and the surrounding area with many forests, meadows and fields. You park and reach the house via a paved with ancient stone walkway, which is under a preservation order, right up to the garden gate. It's a pretty steep path and this is the only access to the house. you can NOT arrive with the car to the house; the tenant of the property should not have any problems to go to a steep climb on foot and carry the luggage there . It is a romantic destination for nature-loving guests who love the tranquility of rural life. Dogs are perfect here, and you can start from the holiday house for walks and even reach  the valley below on foot and, if you like to climb a bit, you can reach a mountain stream, reachable even in few minutes drive, that has a lot of water even in the summer and with many useful zones for bathing. Dogs too are allowed. The sister of the owner of the holiday house works in the local wide public swimming pool, approximately 2 km away, and so the tenants of the property may make a subscription for you for all the period of your stay a really good chance for parents with children.

The holiday house belongs to the municipality of the small village of Strada in Casentino, a wooded natural landscape in the heart of Tuscany, only 1 hour drive from Florence, 50 minutes from Arezzo and within an easy reach to many other charming small towns in the near surroundings. The favourable position makes so this holiday house an ideal starting point for art and culture trips. The guest will find out many small enchanting little places, away from the tourist crowds of other Tuscan regions, romantic castles, monasteries and churches (the monastery of LA VERNA, known for Francis of Assisi) lovely streets, beautiful views of unspoiled nature. in our CASENTINO reigns peace and quiet,  but there are also folk festivals, where you can experience the true Tuscan among true Tuscans (for ex. the mushroom festival in August in Moggiona / Poppi) and of course, should be remembered the Antiquarian fair in Arezzo, always on every first weekend of the month, which draws thousands of spectators and where you  can almost alwaysmake a good "bargain". Florence and Siena are certainly a "must" for art lovers, but those who prefer to avoid the touristic caos of these two big cities, can remain in the Casentino and visit very interesting places every day different. Everyday, a daily open market takes place in one of its villages and there are many typical ristorantes with local dishes, pizza, ice cream parlors and all that could make a beautiful and unforgettable an holiday. For your daily shopping, you're in  a few minutes down to the local village, where there are post office, bank, little retail shops, supermarket, bakery, Mondays afternoon's weekly market, café bars, restaurant, pizzeria all within an easy reach.
