The holiday house is in Casentino, a thickly wooded valley between Florence and Arezzo. It is a small romantic cottage in a quiet location, on a fully fenced terraced plot of about 4000 m².

You could reach the double bedroom directly from the living room by a glass-enclosed corridor. A second overnight accommodation for 2 persons is in the living room on the comfortable sofa bed.

Water with mineral qualities comes from the 180 m deep well of the property. The garden is sunny for all the day and the small stream is a wonderful place for refreshment on hot days.

Right next to the garden, flows a small stream with crystal clear water, which is deep in some places and there you can take a refreshing swim- a welcome chance in the summer and particularly interesting and fun for children - a true adventure playground, absolutely without any dangers; access to the house via a 500 m gravel path through the wood, along the stream, passable with "normal" cars - slowly - but well passable; if you have a particularly low car, this street could give you some problems but you can also go this route on foot and leave the car before. It is a holiday home for guests who want to have nothing else around them than pure nature - in the truest sense of the word. There are no car noise, no neighbors; you will hear only the chirping of birds and the rippling of the small creek, a paradise for children and especially for four-legged friends.

For your shopping, you can go to Poppi, only 5 km away, where you will find all the shops you need, a supermarket, on Tuesdays morning the weekly market, pharmacy, post offices, several banks, Restaurants, pizzerias, Café-bars, ice-cream parlors and all the is typical of the Italian lifestyle. Arezzo is 35 km away, Florence 55 km but many other places nearby offer medieval castles and churches, romantic winding lanes, typical Tuscan architecture: the monasteries of Camaldoli and La Verna, where Francis of Assisi lived, are in close proximity and provide much to see, not to mention interesting and romantic walks in the centuries-old forests. The Casentino is also an ideal starting point for mountain bikers. There are a 9-hole golf club, tennis courts and a large public swimming pool, all in Poppi
