La Costarella Klein

The apartment La Costarella is divided as follows :
there is 1 bedroom with a double bed and in a close room there is enough space for an extra bed (a folding bed) or a baby cot; the spaces are not very big and they are fast all in communication. There is 1 bathroom with shower, separated by an extra door, with sink, bidet, wc and washing machine; 1 kitchen, decorated with beautiful ceramic tiles, 4-burner stove, sink, fridge-freezer, dining table and chairs; from here you can go outside into a very large terrace with dining table, bench, chairs, and also a brick shelf with sink, grill and sitting furniture. Here, you can have a romantic evening barbecue “al fresco”, during our warm summer evenings. This dining area is fantastic, already from breakfast you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the evergreen nature of the many Mediterranean plants and of the sea – you really can’t find a more beautiful place than this!
It is the ideal holiday home for a couple or a small family, in a really perfect quiet.
All the windows have mosquito or fly screens.
The house consists of 2 apartments, each with its own entrance; there is a lockable gate with remote control, a car parking space (suitable for cars such as Golf / Focus) located within the 5,000 m2 of the property, which is completely fenced.
An apartment is rented to guests and the other belongs to the owner of the house, a veterinarian who lives in Bologna, and comes very rarely to Elba. When he is present, he is very discreet and doesn’t really disturb the guests, who have their own entrance on the lower side of the house - he enters the house from above; so everyone has their privacy.

Lower apartment: 1 bedroom with double bed, in addition to an additional bed for 1 child (folding bed) can be used in the next room; The rooms in the lower apartment are not very big and one goes into the other.

Lower apartment: a small kitchen, equipped with beautiful ceramic tiles, 4-burner stove, sink, kl. Refrigerator with freezer, dining table and chairs. From here you get to the outside, where there is a very large terrace.

Lower apartment: 1 bathroom with shower, which is delimited with a door, sink, bidet and toilet, washing machine.

There is a lockable entrance gate; a car parking space (suitable for smaller cars, such as Golf / Focus) is located within the approximately 5,000 square meters of land, which is completely fenced. Larger cars can park outside, right in front of the garden gate. From the upper, large eat-in-kitchen you reach the outside terrace with table, chairs and parasol; in front of the lower kitchen is a covered seating area with dining table, next to it the brick barbecue area and a water connection, very convenient for preparing the food outdoors. The view from here falls on the enchanting Elban landscape and the sea, down in the valley you can see the picturesque town of Marciana Marina. An outside staircase connects both terraces.

The apartment "La Costarella" is located in Marciana (Elba Island) on the picturesque north-west coast of the island – which is not the tourist side of Elba, set in a quiet location with a unique view of the sea. Surrounded by the green, with its big property, this house offers a wonderful ambience for those seeking relax and peace away from the crowd of the mass holiday tourism.

In front of the house, there are beautiful hiking trails through the blooming bushes. In a short drive, you can shop and eat in the small mountain village of Marciana, in a typical trattoria / restaurant or in one of the small, idyllic coves at the nearby beaches. Marciana Marina (5 minutes drive) with its beach-front promenade, has many shops and chic boutiques, cafes, ice cream parlors. It is a classic Tuscan holiday destination and it has a vibrant life during our warm summer evenings. Elba is the largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago, an evergreen island, an holiday destination very popular with the Florentines; indeed many of them have here a house or an apartment. Elba is always wonderful with the spectacular backdrop of the beaches, the blue sea and mountain hiking trails, not to mention its great views. Here, you can still find many quiet corners where to rest in total peace, especially during the months of April, May, September and October.  The climate is always mild, and many plants and flowers bloom during all the year. Shopping is always in few minutes’ drive. You can find restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, ice cream parlors and shops in every village.
