Typical Tuscan Holiday Villa with heated swimming pool, set in a breathtaking panoramic position, built with natural stones with excellent furniture and a big garden in an absolute peaceful location; the ideal holiday Villa for those who are looking for absolute relax without forgoing to a luxurious ambience even on holydays. In the garden area, there is a lot of space for families with children. 

All the bedrooms are very spacious, with parquet floors and wooden beamed ceilings which create a very homely ambience. The bedrooms are so organized: on the ground floor there are 1 double bedroom with bathroom and direct exit to the garden; 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and private bathroom. These bedrooms are thought for those guests who prefer to avoid the stairs. On the first floor, there is 1 double bedroom with ensuited bathroom and 2 other double bedroom- one with a fireplace- each with its own bathroom and a further double bedroom with a romantic “letto a baldacchino”-canopy bed- with its own private bathroom too and, moreover, a communicating room which leads to a double bedroom, furnished with a single bed, the ideal accommodation for a kid who can sleep alone but near his parents. On demand, are available 1 or 2 baby coats and a baby high -chair.

On the ground floor, there are a cozy living room with couches, DVD, CD-ROM and DVX-Player, Sat-TV and stereo and 2 further living room with direct exit to the garden and a very little lovely studio on the first floor, that can be reached through an inside or outside staircase, thought as reading room or simply as a nice room where you can lounge and drink a glass of Chianti. By the glass windows all around you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surroundings.

The kitchen is furnished with all the necessary kitchenware and with a big fridge/freezer, electric oven, 5 burner gas oven, toaster, German coffee machine, dishwasher, a big table very useful for cooking, a mixer, a kettle, a toaster, a mixer-whisk for baby food and all you need for preparing tasting meals for your family. On demand, you can “rent a cook”, who will prepare for you tasting typical Tuscan dishes.  An antique vetrina- a cupboard- full of genuine local Tuscan products- mostly from the nearby farmers of Casentino- such as honey, marmalade, jams, wine, olive oil, grappa and so on…can be tasted by the guests (with price list), without going to purchase them in the village. The day of your arrival, you will find bottled mineral water, all you need for the breakfast of the following morning and a basket of fruits as a welcomed gift by the owners. Monica, the daughter of the owner, speaks English and with his brother Daniele is always willing to help and meet the expectations of their guests. In the laundry, on the ground floor, you will find the washing machine, the iron and iron board. On the first floor, near the bedrooms, there is another service room with washing machine, often used to wash baby and kid cloths.

6 with shower and 1 with bath tub, so organized: 2 bathrooms on the ground floor, 1 ensuited bathrooms and other 3 bathrooms on the first floor, equipped with shower enclosure, sink, WC, bidet, one with a bath tub and outside, in the garden, near the swimming pool, a little garden house with sink, WC and shower.

Opposite to the kitchen, there is a secluded, covered outdoor area with tables and chairs, where you can have your meals. A pizza oven and a grill / barbecue are available and moreover, in a garden house nearby, there is a stove, a refrigerator and a sink - all perfectly organized for your Tuscan summer evenings. the entire area around this Tuscan guest farmhouse is about 180,000 m2, with beautiful woods, planted with about 1,000 olive trees, organic vineyards and a lot of green in the surroundings that allow you really to relax and breath pure and fresh air without road and traffic noise; it is a paradise for families with children that can run around freely without the danger of traffic. A little distant, on the same estate, there are other 2 holiday houses (please give a look at "Le Vignacce"), which belong to the same owner of Tenuta San Domenico, also with a swimming pool, with space for another eight-nine persons. So a bigger group of friends, if necessary, can rent both villas and so spend time together- there is enough space available everywhere- and retire once one would have a little privacy.

The swimming pool, with its big dimension 6x12 m, is located in a beautiful sunny position. It is heated, inside illuminated, with hydro massage jets near the stairs and a shower into the garden house nearby.Season 2023 pool heating: April not available / May and October €350,00 per week / June and September included.

This farm house belongs to a historical family of blacksmiths. Their artistic works, their furniture, beds, chairs, tables … give character to the house and make it unique (you can’t miss a visit to their showroom!). This holiday villa is really furnished with very beautiful objects, artistic treasures that make it a really dream house, the best of its kind, a privilege that this kind of villa could be rented. It has every comfort, a beautiful and quite location: no noise, no streets, no cars, a really oasis of peace! 

To do some shopping you can go to Salutio(1 Km), Talla (3 Km ) or Rassina (5 km), a bigger village, where you will find a supermarket, many retail shops, the post office, banks, pharmacy, coffee bars, a take-away pizzeria and a butcher’s shop, “ Macelleria Fracassi”, very well-known in Tuscany for its steaks  “bistecca fiorentina” and ham of Casentino.  On Wednesday morning in the main square takes place a little outside market, “il mercato”, where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, dresses and shoes. If you need something more, Bibbiena the main village of Casentino, is only 5 minutes of car from Rassina. There you will find many little retail shops and a modern shopping centre with a Coop supermarket. In the village are present pizzerias, restaurants, ice cream parlors, coffee bars. Services: postal office, banks, hospital, pharmacy, tennis, public covered and outdoor swimming pool, five-a-side football sport centre. Fortunately, Casentino is a still- untouched valley, with not so much tourists, the prices are normal and here you can really experience the Tuscan life. You can drink a cappuccino or an espresso at the outside tables of one coffee bar and try each day a different restaurant or trattoria where you can really enjoy our typical cousine.  If you like our outdoor markets, you can’t miss on the morning “il mercato” in Rassina on Wednesday, in Bibbiena on Thursday, in Subbiano on Monday and in this way to know how we really live in Tuscany. From your luxurious guest farm house you can reach easily the most known and famous art cities of Tuscany and Umbria: Firenze and Siena in an hour, Perugia, Assisi, San Gimignano in a daily tour and if you don’t want to drive a lot, Arezzo is only 20 minutes away. Every first Sunday and Saturday of each month takes place in Arezzo a big and very important antique outdoor market “ la fiera antiquaria“ with many exhibition stands that create a very particular atmosphere in the city. In an hour, you can reach Cortona, a very beautiful and lively old Etruscan village with a stunning view over the Valdichiana and very famous for the Frances Mayes' book Under the Tuscan Sun that there has its setting. If you want to go to the lake, Lago Trasimeno is the place for you. It is an enchanting beautiful place where you can relax yourself and eat good fish in a local restaurant. It has beaches, sailing facilities, and ferry services to its islands, one of which is a natural park with lovely walks. In your farmhouse you will find a detailed info-map with a lot of information such as pizzerias, restaurant and so on… or better you can ask directly to the owners that will be happy to give you some tips.
