Villa Maria

This luxurious holiday villa - with heated swimming swimming pool – is located in Casentino, a wooded region in the heart of Tuscany between Florence and Arezzo; a very quiet place, not an usual touristic destination.
The mansion, which was completed only in April 2007, has been restored with great taste and care for details in the traditional Tuscan style.

On the 1st floor of the villa, there are 7 double bedrooms and 1 of them with direct access to the garden. Besides this 14 accommodation, we have also a sofa bed for 2 kids. All the beds can be used as double beds or single beds.

On the ground floor: 1 spacious living room with comfortable sitting corner with direct access to the garden and 1 dining room with natural stone fireplace. On the 1st floor: 1 cozy living room with natural stone fireplace an 1 TV room with a large plasma TV make the house unique and very elegant.

On the ground floor:  There is a very well equipped kitchen with all the necessary kitchenware and a double doors American fridge-freezer, (even the kitchen has a direct exit to the garden) On the first floor:  another kitchen, slightly smaller but completely equipped.

On the first floor:  6 bathrooms with very precious and beautiful ceramic tiles (one with Jacuzzi-Shower)

The villa is situated in a large garden with a lot of trees, with ornamental shrubs, flowers and fruit trees, as well as cypresses and centuries-old oaks. The property is about 50 hectares

The highlight of this beautiful property is the 7x14 m swimming pool, which is heated and this is a real rarity for Italian villas. It is a fantastic thing during the cooler days of the early spring and in the fall.  The swimming pool is located behind the villa in a big garden with a lot of trees, ornamental shrubs, flowers and fruit trees, not to mention the beautiful cypresses and the centuries-old oaks. The swimming pool may be used exclusively by the guests of the villa.Heated Pool 500€ Week

This is a luxury villa, able to meet the highest demands of the guests: heated swimming pool, terracotta-tiled floors, beamed ceilings, beautiful antique furniture, and precious old prints with tasteful frames that adorn the walls, a very fair and elegant atmosphere, which will make your staying here an unforgettable experience. The swimming pool, the entire garden area, the ground floor and the first floor of the villa are AT EXCLUSIVE USE of the guests. Moreover, each apartment has its own entrance, so the total privacy of our guests is granted.In any case, the total privacy of the guests is ensured.  It is possible to organize at Villa Maria a cooking class, the large professional kitchen on the ground floor is suitable for this aim or you can “rent a cook” with its staff, that will come to Villa Maria and will prepare for you local casentinesi dishes. Once a time let you be spoilt. You will taste a good Italian cousine, enjoying your beautiful garden, relaxing yourself and drinking a good glass of wine or more, without the problem of driving afterwards. This is the ideal solution for families with small kids, which, as we know, can’t remain longer quiet in the restaurant and when they are tired, they have their beds nearby. Really a great luxury! To rent a cook could be also a great idea for  family celebrations.

Villa Maria is about 40 km from Arezzo,  65 km from Florence and only 15 km away from the monastery "LA VERNA" where lived St. Francis- San Francesco D’Assisi.
